I have been a patient of Dr. Solanki's for 2 yrs and at this clinic since opening in spring 2010.
I am in a motorized chair and the staff are always very helpful with entering and exiting the building, and accomodating for space. Very courteous front office staff. Would recommend their services to anyone!

I don't know what I would do without the services of Altona Physiotherapy & Chiropractic. The doctors and therapists have helped me with physical problems that I have not been able to resolve by any other means. I have used their chiropractic, massage, physiotherapy and naturopathic services. They always listen to me and help. All the staff are caring, professional and courteous. You will not find a better clinic.

I've been seeing chiropractors and massage therapists for years now and I was truly impressed with this place.
Dr Solanki will get you better! He takes time, explains things very well and is pretty punctual too, which is unusual for a doctor.
The clinic is very nice looking and relaxing and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The waterfall is cool too.

I have been a patient of Dr. Solanki's for years so when I heard he was opening up his own practice there was no question I'd follow him to the new location, even though we live downtown.
Now as for the location itself, whenever you start a new place you are afforded the opportunity to make sure the place looks and functions great from the get go, and that's what they've done.
The office is spacious and inviting and contains something I can honestly say I've never seen in a medical office: a waterfall. Everything from the individual treatment rooms to the bathrooms have been done in a way that make the place feel new and professional.
If you are looking for a chiropractor, or physical therapy I highly recommend this place.

These days, when we see our family doctor having been made to wait over an hour, just to be given a prescription or a referral after only 5 to 10 minutes of unsympathetic conversation, little coherent explanation of what's wrong, and no relief from our pain. Those medical practitioners just don't care.
Sunil and his team are different. The REALLY do care! I'm not made to wait. He explains everything in terms I can understand. His treatments go above and beyond the norm. He spends extra time willingly. And most importantly, because of Sunil, I am in much better health!
The same can be said Alison Stone, from whom I've received treatment for a variety of issues. Always courteous, she works magic, healing ailments I thought I would have to live with for life!
So don't be alarmed when you hear me screaming from a treatment room, as either Alison or Sunil are pressing on a particular affected muscle, causing excruciating pain.... I know I'll be better when I walk out, and for weeks thereafter!
Just remember to breath!

I found Dr. Solanki in the Spring of this year. He is the most gentle, caring and helpful Doctor I have had. He not only listens to what you have to say but he also teaches you how to deal with and treat your pain. He has done for me in 6 visits what others have been working on for 3 years. Thank you so much Doctor Solanki for being such a fantastic Doctor and for setting up your practice in Pickering. One last mention, the office staff are always very accomodating and pleasant - always ready with a smile for their clients.

I was introduced to Dr.Solanki last year when I was visiting a friend in Pickering. I am from Misissauga. (Lakeshore and Highway #10 area)
I have tried so many chiropractors in my area and all to no avail. My back was still killing me and I was in a lot of pain and discomfort. I finally gave in to my friend when she suggested I try her Chiropractor Dr. Solanki. Well the rest is history.
Dr. Solanki is AMAZING!!!!! I drive 55KM to get my back fixed at Altona by Dr. Solanki. When he is finished working on my back, I can touch my toes instead of just my thighs with no pain! I can sleep through the night with out waking up in pain. I feel Fantastic!!!!
I would recommend Altona Chiropractic to any one that thinks that they have to put up with having to settle with going through life with pain.
The staff are all great people and everyone there truly cares about getting you better!
I have even rented a car on a few occasions at $125.00 just to go to my chiropractic appointment with Dr. Solanki. He is amazing!!!

My daughter age 12, my mother-in-law, and myself were involved in a car accident. Our family physician referred us to see a chiropractor and RMT.
Dr. Gordon-Tennant has been treating each of us for whiplash. Dr. Gordon-Tennant is very knowledgable, kind, and considerate. He asks many questions, in order to find the most beneficial treatment for each person.
