Dr. Sunil Solanki
B.Sc. (Hons.), D.C., M.Sc. (Chiro.), Dip.Rad.
Clinic Director and Chiropractor
Dr. Solanki graduated from the Anglo-European College
of Chiropractic in England in the year 2000. He completed his Masters degree while
there, researching Repetitive Strain Injuries. His first posting was in a sports
clinic where he became team doctor for a professional English soccer club (Northampton
Town) and for Oxford County Cricket Club.
Since returning to Canada he has worked in family practice. He has taken further
training in numerous diverse topics ranging from spinal decompression to the care
of babies for colic, treating children and seniors for various injuries and the
treatment of TMJ (jaw) conditions and headaches. He is also trained in the fitment
of custom-made Orthotics.
In 2004 he became a team doctor for the American Le Mans and Grand Am motor-racing
series’. He travels to various races and works with drivers and crew to optimize
their performance. In private practice he truly enjoys interacting and helping patients
on a daily basis and aiding in their recovery and the maintenance of good health
and the prevention of future injuries. He often speaks on prevention of injuries
in the local community.
In 2010 he became clinic director for Altona Physiotherapy and Chiropractic.
He is an active member of the Ontario and Canadian Chiropractic Associations. When
not working, he enjoys family time with his wife and young son, playing the piano
and attempting to cook various
exotic dishes in the kitchen.

Dr. Christopher J. Gordon-Tennant

Dr. Chris Gordon-Tennant graduated from the University
of Western Ontario obtaining an Honors Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree then
went on to complete his education from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College
(CMCC). There he was elected Class President in his 3rd and 4th years of study and
was an active member of student council. He also received two awards for his hard
work and contributions to the school. Dr. Chris also participated in interviewing
prospective students into the chiropractic program. On top of his studies at CMCC,
he took additional courses to become certified in Active Release Technique®
as well as the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University.
Being very overweight as a child and teenager, Dr. Chris took a special interest
in exercise and nutrition and became a personal trainer during his Chiropractic
studies and achieved the status of a certified strength and conditioning specialist
(CSCS). He has also expanded his knowledge base attending various seminars such
including “Spinal rehabilitation”, “complete management of the
TMJ” (jaw), and Building the ultimate back” with one of the top low
back researchers in the world (Dr. Stuart McGill). He is also trained to fit custom
made orthotics and compression stockings.
During spare time Dr. Chris enjoys weight-lifting,
jogging and mountain biking. He decided to become a chiropractor to improve the
quality of life of those around him, enabling people to enjoy the activities that
they once did before. He also loves seeing the improvement of patients before they
leave his office and educating them on the prevention of future injury.

Irene Khan
B.Sc., P.T., M.Sc.
Physiotherapist
Irene Khan graduated from Dalhousie University, Halifax,
Nova Scotia with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. Prior to this she completed
degrees in human physiology and psychology.
She has extensive clinical experience in various physiotherapy settings. This includes
outpatient orthopedics in a hospital setting treating post-op conditions, private
clinics treating various condition such as sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents
as well as work related injuries.
Her post graduate education is also extensive and includes various manual therapy
courses, McKenzie's back and neck courses, soft tissue release courses including
myofascial release/trigger point release and exercise application courses such as
MET/stabilization with balls and bands. She is also trained to do custom foot orthotics
assessment and fitting.

Richard Wong
MHS, B.Sc.(P.T.), MCPA
Registered Physiotherapist
Richard Wong graduated from Queen’s University, Kingston,
Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in the year 1994. He completed
the one-year program at Toronto Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Institute and held
a Certificate in Acupuncture Therapy in 1996. In 1998, he also completed his Master
of Health Science in Physical Therapist at University of Indianapolis, Indianapolis,
IN, USA. Since his graduation in 1994, Richard has completed many post-graduate
education including various orthopaedics / musculoskeletal and manual therapy courses.
Richard is also trained in custom-made foot orthotics assessment and fitting.
Richard has more than 17 years of clinical experience
in direct patient care treating various orthopaedic / musculoskeletal conditions
including sports injuries, work-related accidents, motor vehicle accidents, post-operation
rehabilitation, etc.. He is CPR / AED (HCP level) certified. He is also a registered
Assisted Device Program (ADP) Authorizer (Ambulation Aids) in Ontario. He is an
active member of various associations including College of Physiotherapists of Ontario,
Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Ontario Physiotherapy Association and The Federation
of Chinese Canadian Professionals (Ont.).
Richard had served the community and the profession
of physiotherapy in different ways. He was the examiner for Physiotherapy National
Examination and the supervisor for physiotherapy student, physiotherapy resident
and massage therapy student. He was also the seminar speaker for Ontario Public
Health Service on physiotherapy related topics (i.e. Osteoporosis: Management and
Benefits of Exercises). When not working, Richard enjoys family time with his wife
and two children, 9 and 7 years of age, and the fellowship time with other Christians
in the church.

Eileen Kevorkians
R.M.T.
Registered Massage Therapist
Eileen graduated from Centennial College and holds
a diploma in Massage Therapy. She is also registered with the College of Massage
Therapist in Ontario.
As part of her studies, Eileen was able to put her skills into practice at the Centennial
college campus clinic. Valuable experience was also gained through several outreach
placements treating a wide range of clients from infants to athletes and the elderly.
Each placement created new challenges while providing treatment for both healthy
and palliative care populations.
Eileen is committed to delivering an expert level of care to clients and provides
them with the fundamental necessities for a healthy and active life style. All clients
are treated on an individual basis, recognizing that each person has different needs.
As a health care provider, it is Eileen's primary responsibility to empower and
build rapport with all of her clients. She believes it is absolutely paramount to
educate her clients by giving them the necessary information that will encourage
them to take responsibility of their well -being and make healthy lifestyle choices.

Dana Greenaway
R.M.T.
Registered Massage Therapist
Dana graduated from the Massage Therapy program at
Centennial College in August of 2001. She started work in a multi-disciplinary clinic
for the next 7 years. After having twins, Dana decided to work part time running
her own small Massage Therapy business. As the children were ready, so was Dana
to move back into the clinic environment. She is now working at Altona Physiotherapy
and Chiropractic clinic and couldn’t be happier.
Dana is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario as well as the
Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario. Through her training Dana has
gained many skills, offering a range from Swedish massage techniques to deep tissue
work. She has taken specific courses in labour support and delivery as well as soft
tissue release.
In her down time, Dana enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys a hot
cup of tea!

Dr Shiraz
Nuraddin
B.Sc., N.D.
Naturopath/Acupuncturist
Dr. Shiraz Nuraddin completed her Bachelor of Science
with an emphasis in Biology at the University of Toronto in 1998. She furthered
her studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and completed a four
year doctorate program which she graduated from in 2002. She is licensed to
practice in Ontario and is an active member of Canadian Associations of Naturopathic
Doctors. Prior to her studies in Naturopathic Medicine she attended Medical
school in Germany.
Dr. Nuraddin is committed to optimizing her patients well being and quality of life
by presenting her patients with customized treatments tailored to their lifestyle.
She continues to keep current with ongoing research and clinical education, attending
seminars across Europe and North America. She has taken several continuing
education courses in childhood illnesses, gastro intestinal diseases, women’s
health issues and Diabetes from some of the leading practitioners in North America.
She has been invited to speak on health care issues on television, radio and seminars
and was also one of the speakers at the International Women’s Day.
Dr. Nuraddin is a Naturopathic Doctor who provides comprehensive family practice,
and since 2007, she has had a special interest in high risk pregnancies and premature
babies. Her interest in this area was spurred by her youngest son who was
born premature at 32 weeks. She lives in Pickering with her husband and four
beautiful children, who range from 13 to 3 years of age. When she is
not working or volunteering in the community she enjoys spending time with her family.

Hughes
Office Manager
Barb graduated from University in 1995 with a Bachelor
or Arts Degree in Urban/Environmental Studies & Geography. Since then she has
worked in customer service and office management.
In managing this medical office, she has faced challenges that are present in every
office. Because this is a new business, she has implemented many of our office policies
and helped to build the framework of this business from scratch. She enjoys the
opportunity to help others experience a better quality of life and really enjoys
working with people.
On the personal side, she is married with 2 children, 8 and 5 years in age. Together
they love to go sailing on their boat, and spending time aboard in The Thousand
Islands near Kingston, Ontario.

Carmelo Brual
B.Sc., N.D.
Massage Therapist
Carmelo is a graduate from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH). He is a registered member with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), and a member of the Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario (RMTAO). Carmelo uses many combinations of techniques to treat clients; swedish massage, sports massage, deep myofascial tissue, and dyanmic release to name a few. Carmelo also plans to continue to take new modality courses in the future to expand his skillset and knowledge within his scope of practice to offer the best techniques possible to all clientele.
When not working Carmelo keeps busy by working out at the gym and doing multiple outdoor acitivies such as hiking/snow shoeing, Mt biking and downhill skiing.
